Kevin Krieger is the Senior Pastor at the Butteville Community Church. He has been in ministry for 11 years, six of which, were as our Student Ministries Pastor. Kevin graduated from Multnomah University with a Bachelors's degree in Theology and Biblical studies. Pastor Kevin and his wife both grew up in the Butteville area and have two children.
Pastor Kevin brings fresh, non-sugar coated teaching of the Gospel and we are so excited to have him share his vision and enthusiasm with us!
OUR HIGH SCHOOL / COLLEGE PASTOR
Melanie Boonstra is our High School /College Pastor. While in college Melanie earned a BA in History with a minor in Biblical Studies from Westmont College.
Wanting to grow her love of teaching, she earned a Master’s in Teaching from George Fox University in 2019. She is actively involved in the North Marion Community as a teacher, coach, and BCC staff.
OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL PASTOR
Hope Harmon is our Middle School Pastor. Hope graduated from Lipscomb University in Tennessee with a double major.
Hope’s passion, enthusiasm, and love for Christ and youth are a wonderful fit for our church. She has also done mission work with youth in Scotland, Moldova, Albania, and Greece.
OUR RELEVANT YOUTH DIRECTOR
Sara Hughes is our Relevant Youth Director. Sara came to faith in Christ as a child but understood Gods’ grace more fully in college, since then she has a passion for sharing God’s love with others.
Sara and her husband have four children and live in Aurora.
OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Jill Manning is our Sunday School Director. Jill graduated from Ecola Bible College with a Bible Degree and has done several stints of missionary work in San Francisco working with inner-city youth.
Jill and her husband have two kids, she stays busy coaching softball and helping with soccer. She has been part of the Butteville Community Church on and off since She was five years old.
OUR WORSHIP LEADERS
Glenn & Shatrine Krake are our Worship Leaders. Both have been involved in Church and Ministries all of their lives, they are excited to be serving through worship at the Butteville Community Church.
Once married, they excitedly moved back to Shatrine's home state (Oregon) and have enjoyed raising their two children here.
